RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

KROMANOX offers limited-edition, made-to-order, individually sourced, reconstructed, and other production-specific products. Return and cancellation eligibility may vary depending on the product type, production status, shipping destination, and applicable law.

Please review the applicable product page and this policy before placing an order.

LIMITED-EDITION PRODUCTS

Eligible limited-edition products may be returned if a return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original condition, including:

  • unworn;

  • unused;

  • unwashed;

  • unaltered;

  • free from damage, stains, odors, or signs of wear;

  • with all original tags attached; and

  • with original packaging where applicable.

A return request does not automatically guarantee approval.

KROMANOX may decline a discretionary return that does not satisfy the eligibility requirements stated in this policy, subject to applicable law.

Mandatory consumer rights that apply to a particular transaction are not limited by this section.

MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Made-to-order, custom, reconstructed, individually sourced, or otherwise production-specific products are created specifically in response to an order.

Once sourcing, cutting, construction, customization, assembly, or other production work has begun, the order is considered final sale for voluntary returns and cancellations, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Cancellation requests are not guaranteed and depend on the production status of the order.

For orders subject to laws that provide mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights, including certain orders shipped to South Korea, made-to-order or final-sale restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and only where the applicable legal requirements for such restrictions have been satisfied.

Made-to-order or final-sale status does not eliminate any mandatory remedy for products that arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially not as described.

UNITED STATES ORDERS

Eligible limited-edition products shipped within the United States may be returned if a return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery, subject to the eligibility requirements of this policy.

Approved discretionary U.S. returns are subject to a $15 flat return shipping fee.

Where KROMANOX provides a return shipping label, the $15 fee will be deducted from the final approved refund amount.

The $15 return shipping fee does not apply where the return results from a confirmed KROMANOX error, qualifying defect, incorrect item, or another circumstance in which KROMANOX is required to bear the return cost.

Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable for discretionary returns unless otherwise required by applicable law.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

For orders shipped outside the United States, mandatory consumer rights applicable to the transaction remain unaffected by this policy.

Where applicable law provides a non-waivable cancellation, return, refund, or other consumer right that differs from this policy, the mandatory requirements of that law will apply.

For eligible change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for applicable return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.

Refunds for eligible international returns will be processed within the timeframe required by applicable law.

HOW TO START A RETURN

To request a return, contact:

within the applicable return period.

Please include:

  • your order number;

  • the item you wish to return; and

  • the reason for the return.

We may request photographs or other information reasonably necessary to evaluate the request.

If your return is authorized, KROMANOX will provide return instructions and, where applicable, a return shipping label containing the designated return address.

Do not send returns to any KROMANOX business or mailing address unless specifically instructed to do so.

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the sender, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

RETURN SHIPPING

For approved discretionary returns shipped within the United States, a $15 flat return shipping fee will be deducted from the approved refund amount where KROMANOX provides the return shipping label.

For eligible change-of-mind returns from other countries, the customer is responsible for the applicable return shipping cost unless otherwise required by law.

For other international returns, return shipping arrangements and costs will be determined based on the destination and applicable law.

KROMANOX will bear return shipping costs where required by applicable law, including qualifying circumstances involving a confirmed KROMANOX error, incorrect product, defect, or material difference from the applicable product description or contract terms.

KROMANOX does not charge a restocking fee for approved returns unless a different charge is expressly disclosed before purchase and permitted by applicable law.

RETURN INSPECTION

All returned merchandise may be inspected after it is received by KROMANOX.

Receipt of a returned package does not by itself constitute approval of a discretionary return or refund.

We may inspect the item to determine whether it satisfies the applicable return requirements.

For discretionary returns, KROMANOX may decline a return if the item:

  • shows signs of wear or use;

  • has been washed;

  • has been altered or modified;

  • has been damaged after delivery;

  • contains stains, odors, or other signs inconsistent with original condition;

  • is missing original tags;

  • is missing required original packaging;

  • was returned outside the applicable return period;

  • is a made-to-order or otherwise final-sale product that is not eligible for discretionary return; or

  • otherwise fails to satisfy the applicable requirements of this policy.

If a discretionary return is declined, we will notify you using the contact information associated with the order.

Where appropriate and permitted by applicable law, a declined return may be sent back to the customer at the customer's expense.

Any inspection process described above will not extend or override a mandatory refund deadline imposed by applicable law.

REFUNDS

Refund timing depends on the destination of the order and the rights applicable to the transaction.

United States

For an approved U.S. discretionary return, KROMANOX will initiate the applicable refund to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after the return has been inspected and approved.

Any applicable $15 return shipping fee or other deduction permitted under this policy and applicable law will be reflected in the final refund amount.

Payment Processing

Once KROMANOX has successfully initiated a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or financial institution.

Additional financial-institution processing time may therefore apply after KROMANOX has issued the refund.

KROMANOX is not responsible for delays caused solely by a bank, card issuer, payment processor, or other financial institution after KROMANOX has timely completed the refund action required of it.

If a refund does not appear after the expected financial-institution processing period, please contact your bank or card issuer. Where available, KROMANOX may provide refund or transaction reference information to assist with tracing the payment.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, INCORRECT, OR MISDESCRIBED ITEMS

If you believe an item arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from its product description, contact:

as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

Please include your order number and photographs or other information reasonably necessary for us to evaluate the issue.

These claims are reviewed separately from discretionary change-of-mind returns.

The natural variations inherent in handmade, reconstructed, reclaimed, vintage, pre-owned, or individually sourced materials do not by themselves constitute defects where those characteristics are consistent with the applicable product description.

This does not permit KROMANOX to disregard any fiber-content, material-content, origin, care, or other product information specifically represented for a product.

The standard 7-day discretionary return period does not limit any longer mandatory claim period that may apply where a product is defective, incorrect, materially misdescribed, or supplied inconsistently with applicable contract terms.

Made-to-order or final-sale status does not eliminate any remedy required by applicable law.

Where a qualifying claim is confirmed, KROMANOX will provide an appropriate remedy as required by applicable law, which may include refund, replacement, repair, or another appropriate resolution depending on the circumstances.

EXCHANGES

KROMANOX does not guarantee direct exchanges.

Where an eligible return is approved, any replacement or exchange option depends on product availability.

Because certain KROMANOX products are limited-edition, individually sourced, reconstructed, or made to order, the same product, size, material combination, color, pattern, or variation may no longer be available.

Where an exchange is unavailable, an eligible return may instead be processed for refund in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

Made-to-order products remain subject to the restrictions described above, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

CANCELLATIONS

For eligible in-stock products, please submit a cancellation request as soon as possible. Cancellation cannot be guaranteed once order fulfillment has begun.

For made-to-order products, material sourcing or production may begin shortly after an order is placed. Once sourcing, cutting, construction, customization, assembly, or other production work has begun, voluntary cancellation may no longer be available, even if the order has not yet shipped, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically cancel an order. All requests are reviewed based on the product type, fulfillment or production status, and applicable law.

Any mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights remain unaffected by these restrictions.

If KROMANOX is unable to ship an order within the applicable promised timeframe, we will provide any notice, opportunity to consent to a delay, cancellation option, or refund required by applicable law.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY

KROMANOX reserves the right to determine whether a discretionary return satisfies the eligibility requirements stated in this policy, subject to applicable law.

We may decline a discretionary return that:

  • is requested outside the applicable return window;

  • fails to meet original-condition requirements;

  • is returned without required authorization;

  • concerns a product excluded from discretionary returns;

  • involves a made-to-order product after production has begun, where such restriction is legally enforceable; or

  • otherwise fails to comply with the applicable requirements of this policy.

This discretion does not permit KROMANOX to deny a cancellation, return, refund, or other remedy that a customer is entitled to under mandatory applicable law.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

KROMANOX may update this Return and Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, fulfillment practices, return procedures, markets, or applicable requirements.

The policy applicable to an order will be interpreted together with the product information, checkout terms, and policies presented at the time of purchase, subject to applicable law.

The current version and its “Last updated” date will be available on this page.
